Smart phone compatible settings for free mail service pop and smtp, ports?

Will the free yahoo mail service support sync of pop3 accounts using Outlook Express on my new smart phone also what is the outgoing smtp address and port #’s. I’ve been through the wizard a couple of times but the test run always fails.
